Seriously tho, some of you may remember the days before DJing went digital. The the MAC user percentage was say 5-10%. Give or take, depending on how many people decided they wanted to be “desktop publishers” that day. Those were days when u could meet up with your people at the Apple store, parlay, check your gmail. Flirt with managers (the female ones. nohomo). If you were a MAC user back then you felt at home in the MAC store.
Once, while hanging out with this dude, in Atlanta, he mangled the drive in his brand new 1st gen macbook. So we went to the MAC store at Lenox Mall (on a Saturday), flirted with manager, told her the scenario and left it. We went crate digging at 2 fleamarkets, went to the Jamaican spot, stopped in Little 5 Points and when we got the call we headed back to Lenox and BAM!! Macbook good as new. The best thing about it…no charge. And that is no lie.
The MAC store isn’t such a good look these days. With the advent of the most stylin’ laptops ever and the iphone, the managers don’t flirt anymore (the female ones, no homo). They tell you to sign in and what not. The employees look beat down. Its just not the same. You have PC users with IPhones taking up all the time at the Genius Bar. If they just switched over to the big Apple syncing photos and contacts would be soooo f^%kn’ easy. But we’re going to stop right there… because at the end of the day the pornsites know no platforms, so we’re all in the same gang.
