A couple of months ago when Ethereal hit heavy rotation in the lab, it was like listening to Goldie’s Timeless for the first time. It was so new and refreshing that you that you wanted to keep it all to yourself so you could figure out how something that sounded so different could still make so much sense. Is it hip hop? jungle? Nah, maybe it’s drum and bass? The thing is, if you spend too much time trying to figure out the Ethereal code of audio conduct, you forget to enjoy it for what it really is, GOOD MUSIC.
But don’t take our word for it. It’s not like Yelawolf scooped him up for his newly launched SLUMERICAN imprint for no reason. With a string of self produced ep’s and full length projects, Ethereal has credentials, his own sound and now he has a new album. Be sure to follow him [HERE]
