A couple of weeks ago I rolled into Miami on a Friday evening to produce a private event @ 10PM. Had to be on the road back to ATL by Sunday morning, so there was no time to waste. Caught the Puma Clyde Launch @ShoeGallery, From there headed to the Mandarin Hotel for the event, which ended way later than expected. Finally called it a wrap @ 4:30 am and headed back to the JW Marriot to cool out. @ 5:30 AM left Marriot, destination, Miami’s Design District.
If you’re unfamiliar, the Design District is ground zero for Miami’s Art Basel every year in December.
Blocks and blocks of visual stimulation in multiple mediums. Soon as I got there the camera went to work, as I had less than 2 hours before I had to link with my family for the day. Between work and fam, the only windows I had to soak in downtime in were early AM Saturday and Sunday. Seeing as though dawn is the best time for natural lighting it worked out. These are just randoms, as I’m piecing together the major productions. BOOM!
Honestly, since The Brooklyn Museum of Art backed out of Art In The Streets, Miami seems like the next logical step. Shouts to @djkeenone, DadeWear, @ShoeGallery, ketchyshubby and primaryflight.
