The X/O is back with more heat for the afterparty. Just realeased, “Thursday” is the highly anticipated second installment of the Weeknd X/O mixtape trilogy. On top of living and tripping the light fantastic, you can tell the studio lights are flipping as well as the sound is respectively more polished. All you Drake fans can expect to hear The Weeknd on his sophomore album, “Take Care” (Oct. 24). The final chapter of The Weeknd mixtape trilogy, “Echoes of Silence”, is slated for release this fall. For the last two plus years dupstep has been steady booming thru stateside club woofers with no apparent signs of falling back (if you’re in the UK, yes we understand us Yankees are habitual latepassers). And although it’s still managed to solidify itself as a legitimate sound, a large majority of the US freeworld are still unable to grasp whats going on. Most likely this is due to jumping on board after the fact.
