Internet Vices: Let’s All Get Wasted [infographic]

Bookface, Twitspace, Mybook. Social Media, for some people is like drugs. Even though it won’t have you on the strip turning tricks for tweets, a comparison between the two is long over due. Illustrator Patrick Moberg rounded up all the major pimps and players in the social networking game and pairs them with illicit real world substances. Hilarious. Seriously.  [Read more...]

My first trip into the mind of Gasper Noe was the movie Irreversible. That being said, it was a very short trip indeed. It was the first time in my life that I had come across a scene in a movie that I just couldn’t handle. The crazy thing is that Argentinian-born French filmmaker intended for me to have that reaction. Enter the Void was rather different experience. For me, the highlight was the opening sequence, but hey I’ve also be diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. Watch it after the jump, let your brain simmer down, then read the Gasper Noe interview. After that, if you’re reading from Atlanta catch the whole movie at the Plaza Theater on Ponce . The WikiLeaks Data Center pt II

[portfolio_slideshow]
More imagery of the Banhof high-security computer storage facility in Stockholm. Once again this is what it looks like in the belly of the current Wikileaks safehouse. The elevated conference room is pure fire. Mind you, this is Sweden so you know the designer furniture is of the highest caliber. Natural waterfalls and vegetation through out the whole facility. The backup generators for the servers are powered by old German U-boats that serve as backup generators.

Pionen – White mountain was designed by Albert France-Lanord Architects in a former 1200 square meter anti-atomic shelter. Major inspiration came straight from the science fiction film genre. As well, make no mistake about it, there is plenty of James Bond 007 overdosage. But that’s not a bad thing. Google and Facebook need to hop of the grid and step their “interior fashion” game up. Word.
