Intro: POP’Africana Magazine

Previously featured installation artist Jakob Dwight dropped us a line regarding a new addition to the world international of publishing. Based in New York City, POP’AFRICANA bi-annual fashion and art publication dedicated to delivering proper view of contemporary Africa and quelling all misconceptions. Ikechukwu Onyewuenyi, the mags Nigerian-born communications director, explains “it is our opportunity to share the inclusive vision we have for Africa and Africans wherever they may be,” adding “a vision that we hope will continue to engage and inspire.”

We’re waiting on our copy, so a full rundown of the magazine isn’t possible. But from what we’ve seen of the covers and interior specimens POP’AFRICANA is ultimate win status.
